Luna Nyx

Author

Luna Nyx is an asexual lesbian young adult, living in the Denver area of Colorado. She’s currently studying to become a Vet Tech, and writes on the side as means to pursue her creative passion. She fell out of love with writing and reading as an adolescent because growing up with ADHD made school a big challenge for her, and she’d begun to associate her passions with failure and disappointment. However, after meeting C.D. Habecker, she rediscovered her passion for literature. She’s inspired by her struggles growing up, and the lack of decent LGBTQIA+ representation in media, to write many more stories to show people with neurodivergence and “queer” identities that they aren’t alone.

Pest Control - with C.D. Habecker

Rhys lives in the mountains due to conflicts with society caused by his sensory processing disorder. He needs to hunt for himself in order to survive the harsh seasons he faces yearly. This has been preferable to living in urban society for many years; that is, until a pesky wolf begins to steal his kills. It's nearing the end of Fall, and he has no option left but to kill the wolf, before starvation kills him, instead. However, instead of catching a wolf in his trap, he winds up finding an unexpected guest.
This story is a gay romance featuring Rhys and Everett, with themes of starvation, werewolves, and falling in love during harsh conditions.

This story is currently going through the publishing process with NineStar Press

Innsaei - with C.D. Habecker

Min is a marine biologist who, with his team of fellow scientists, is sent on a mission to an unexplored island to study potentially new species, and to preserve the creatures that live there, keeping them safe from poachers and those who feel the need to take advantage of nature for their own selfish desires. He comes across a bundle of mysterious eggs in a dark crystal cave, and is greeted with an angry parental mermaid of sorts - with shark teeth.
This story is another gay romance featuring a diverse cast of characters, with both sapphics and men-loving-men, and complicated themes regarding morality and the safety of the sea.

This story is not currently in the publishing process, and has a lot of work to go.
